After the trail wash
Back in 2014, 2015, 2016 and half of 2017 I ran a project where I took one photo every single day. I shared them online.
What started small turned into a chain reaction… magazine features, a couple of interviews, paid gigs, prints sold, books published, and eventually… my very own gallery at a local Sint Rosa Festival.
Not bad for one photo a day.
So I thought, why not do it again?
Start new habits.
Dust off my old photography skills.
Return to the thing I loved before the big burnout. (A story for another day.)
This time, though, I’m not going in full blazing mode. I’ve learned my lesson… burnout is real!
Now it’s about taking it easy. Shooting for the joy of it. Documenting my days as they unfold.
Like this shot… my mountain bike, waiting to be washed after a muddy morning ride.
Enjoy
