“One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.” – Gerard Way

Photography is my way to slow down, catch a breath, capture those fleeting moments, and enjoy the beauty the world has to offer.

It pulls me outside… sometimes into the wild, sometimes into the studio.

But either way, when I pick up a camera, I feel a sense of freedom wash over me.

Hi, I’m Libor Bednarik... a photographer, designer, and content creator with over a decade of experience. I’m based in Sittard-Geleen, Netherlands, where I split my time between freelancing and a second job.

I picked up a camera for one simple reason: the world is too beautiful to ignore.

Back when I lived in New Zealand, it felt like every corner was begging to be photographed.

Mist rolling off mountains in the morning. Waves crashing against black sand beaches. Quiet roads winding through endless green hills… I wanted to capture it all.

And I wanted to share those moments with you.

I realized that once you start seeing life through a lens… you never stop.

When I was a kid, photography wasn’t really “a thing” for me. My first-ever camera was one of those old film point-and-shoots my dad gave me when my mate and I hitched to Spain.

I left home young, searching for a better life. I studied in England, worked with non-profits in Malawi, drank my soul away in Cape Town, and then moved to New Zealand.

A journey I’ll never forget.

Picking up a camera felt natural—something I couldn’t resist. A calling of sorts.

If you’re a photgrapher, you know what I’m talking about.

As a photographer, I learned quickly that imperfect is perfect… that perfect is boring… that “ugly” can be someone’s most honest moment… and that “beautiful” can be just another photo not worth mentioning.

What really matters is what you felt when you took it.

When you stood there with frozen hands, waiting for the mountainside to catch the first rays of morning sun… even though you were cold and tired, you still felt ALIVE.

That’s the good stuff.

That’s what’s worth it.

At least to me.

And if my shots can make you feel something—anything—I’ve done my job.

Today, I create with both hands… one in photography, the other in design.

They’re not separate to me. They’re just two different ways of telling the same story.

Design gives me structure.

Photography gives me soul.

Together, they create powerful visuals—
stories that last.

If you stop for a second, take a deep breath, you quickly realize how fragile life is.

People come and go.

Moments slip away.

And if you’re lucky, what’s left are the things you bothered to capture.

And so… when your life flashes before your eyes… make sure the reel is worth watching.

So, who am I really?

I’m the guy who gets excited about beauty in the ordinary. The guy who believes a single image can stop time.

I discovered photography as a way to hold onto fleeting moments… and it changed the way I see everything.

Somewhere between the chaos and the quiet, I believe there’s always something worth keeping.

That’s what I look for.

That’s what I share.

I want to welcome you here…

Make yourself at home.

Yours,
Libor Bednarik
